Welcome to the Regional Consular Office (RCO) of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Cagayan de Oro.
Our office was established in 1991 to provide passport services to applicants from Northern Mindanao, saving them the burdensome trip to Manila.
Our mission is to provide efficient and prompt passporting services in our area of coverage. Aside from issuing passports, we also issue passport certifications and process passport amendments. We coordinate with local government units in assisting Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) coming from Northern Mindanao.
On 15 March 2010, we launch the new Philippine Electronic Passport in Cagayan de Oro City
